This lightweight platform is one of a series of seven built and installed at a
manufacturing plant in Grimsby. The platforms were all built in our workshop, taken
apart and shipped to site where they were installed by our own
craftsmen.Each platform was different and
individually made. We pride ourselves on our bespoke service. |

The set of pictures below show a recent installation
of an access platform. The first thing we do is a complete site
survey and ascertain exactly where the platform will be sited and also
to understand the customers requirements. A CAD drawing was then
produced for the customers records and also for our workshop fabrication
team. The platform was then built complete in our workshop to make
sure everything was the right size and it was what the customer
required. Finally the platform was dismantled, transported to site
and erected into its final position. We offer a complete bespoke
design and build service for all our customers. Please ask for
further details. |

This picture shows a small section
of a large project for Malvern District Council.
The Malvern Theatres building needed badly corroded wooden roof walkways
replaced. Anglia Composites designed and installed the walkways entirely
on site. This shows our skill and dexterity when it comes to fibreglass
structures. The project took just 3 weeks from start to
finish.
The lightweight walkways are completely corrosion resistant and
will give many years of maintenance free life. |

This platform, built from our own lightweight
fibreglass pultruded profiles, is completely mobile. It has
heavy-duty lockable wheels making it easy to push around.
Every heavy-duty wheel has a locking mechanism making it very safe
and stable.
The platform is shown in our workshop having a final inspection
before delivery by our own transport. The platform will be used in an electrically sensitive location. Our
lightweight fibreglass platforms are non-conductive making them
ideal for use in this type of area.
We can manufacture any size and shape lightweight
platforms with fibreglass handrails. There is a vast range of wheels available for many different types of
applications. Please ask for details. |

This platform was built and
installed at Warwick University.
The University needed access to newly
installed air conditioning equipment.
As you can see it had to span an entrance without impeding on the
footway but also be strong enough to allow workers to deal with any
maintenance with the A C unit.
|
 |
The platform was installed in just 3 days with minimum fuss for the
University staff.
Mr. Trevor Phazey, University Refrigeration Engineer, said "
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff for a
job well done."
The lightweight platform is completely corrosion resistant and
will give many years of maintenance free life. |

skilled craftsmen at the Caterpillar machine plant in Peterlee.
The
stairway leads to a roof walkway which was also installed by Anglia
Composites and is more than 150 metres long.
The entire project took less than 6 weeks from start to completion
and saved the owners 30% in costs.
The stairway and roof walkway are shown in greater detail here. |
